(Los Angeles, CA) On June 21, 2008, guests braved the incredible heat in Los Angeles for an afternoon picnic to raise awareness and money for the Casa de Milagros, a unique village near Machu Picchu in Peru that is known as the “House of Miracles”.  The Citizens of Humanity sponsored event was hosted by Chris Pine, Dustin Hoffman, Mia Kershner, Paula Patton, Rashida Jones, Ryan Haddon, and Shiva Rose.  The event, held at a private residence in Beverly Hills, boasted a live and silent auction, holistic spa treatments ranging from Reiki to massages, and delicious picnic style treats.
